WALKING out for his first Premier League match at the Emirates was a "surreal" experience for Dan Ballard.
It was supposed to happen for him well before W W88 he turned 26 - and he was supposed to do it wearing the red of Arsenal.
That was the dream of the Sunderland centre-half since joining the Gunners aged eight.
He endured being released by the club twice before landing a pro contract aged 16.
