Works to improve roundabouts could begin in new year

WORK could start in January on two roundabout improvement schemes in the Kingswood area.

Hull City Council is seeking a contractor to deliver the projects at Ennerdale Leisure Centre and Wawne Road/Bude Road as part of the Kingswood Area Action Plan.

The authority is aiming for an appointment to be made in November with the intention of work starting on site early in 2026. The schemes are set to provide additional road space for vehicles and “prepare the area for the future and any new development”.
