'Tough conversations' with star trio close to returns - 'it's not fun'

HULL KR head coach Willie Peters admits some tough selection conversations are ahead, with star trio Rhyse Martin, Michael McIlorum, and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves edging closer to returns.

Papua New Guinea back-rower Martin could mark his long-awaited comeback this week against Wakefield Trinity, having recently returned to full training.

The 32-year-old back-rower has been sidelined since undergoing surgery in March.

Veteran duo Mcllorum and Waerea-Hargreaves are also expecting to return in the coming weeks.
