MARION MCMULLEN CATCHES UP WITH THE FAMOUS FACES TAKING PART IN I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE!
-
McFly singer Danny Jones was crowned King of the Jungle last year and the new batch of celebrities say they are up to the challenge of life in the jungle.
Martin says watching his son Roman take part in the ITV show in 2019 encouraged him to take part himself. The 64-year-old former soap actor, also known to millions as EastEnders tough guy Steve Owen, laughs: "I voted for him to do the worst trials. He said to me he was going to get his revenge."
Martin adds: "I've had to cancel some jobs, but when Roman was on I'm A Celebrity, I was addicted, I watched it every day and enjoyed it so much.
"I felt it was now time in my life for an adventure. I have been on this journey of DJing over the last five years, it has been nonstop and I thought it was time to give something back to myself."
Jack, whose father, Black Sabbath front-man Ozzy Osbourne, died earlier this year, says he is going into the jungle to take his mind off things, and says his mother Sharon and sister Kelly will be supportive of him on the show.
Jack, 40, says: "It's absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure. I do hope I can make my family proud."
