It's been outstanding season, says Thirkill

HULL FC co-owner Andrew Thirkill has labelled the 2025 season as one of 'considerable progress' for the club on and off the pitch.

The chairman, who alongside business partner David Hood, purchased FC last year, has enjoyed a stellar first year at the helm - one that has restored pride back in the Hull shirt after a disappointing 2024 season.

While the side just missed out on the Super League playoffs, losing 26-22 to Catalans Dragons on Thursday, Thirkill, who believes the turnaround this year is 'astonishing from where the club has been', said this is just the start.

Hull have stability with Richie Myler and John Cartwright leading the club, with several new signings made, and for the owner, that is already geeing him up for what's to come.
