I didn't expect to use Mikey at full-back

ENGLAND head coach Shaun Wane has confirmed that fullback AJ Brimson has suffered a 'damaging' shoulder injury.

Brimson left the field early on against Australia at Headingley. He was replaced by KR's Mikey Lewis.

And Wane has now confirmed it’s a serious blow for the Gold Coast Titans fullback.

"He's really, really damaged his AC, so bad, and they are really, really painful," Wane said. "He was so gutted to come off; he is a brave kid and he's loved his time here.
