Fash out for four weeks as Cartwright juggles options

HULL FC have lost Brad Fash to a calf tear but are hoping to have Ed Chamberlain fit and available for Saturday's Super League game at Warrington Wolves.

They lost Chamberlain to a knee injury during last week's derby defeat to KR, and with Jed Cartwright, Oliver Holmes, and Jordan Lane all out injured, they are facing a back row crisis.

However, the 28-year-old trained yesterday with head coach John Cartwright providing an update in his pre-match press conference.

“Brad has got a tear in his calf," Cartwright confirmed. “They (the medical staff) think it will be 4-6 weeks. It's unfortunate, as he was doing a good job for us.
