IT AIMS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR PEOPLE

- By ABIGAIL NICHOLSON

PASSENGERS in East Riding now have access to extended bus services and a brand new route.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has funded a new bus service and evening runs on two existing routes, which began on Monday, July 21.

The services were added to make it easier for people to reach hospital appointments and access local towns and villages.

The improvements were made possible following Government funding from the Department for Transport for Bus Service Improvement. The new 141 service is a brand new bus linking Bridlington, Driffield and Beverley with Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham.
