Bishop Burton College celebrates its 70th

A NEW COMMEMORATIVE GARDEN WAS ALSO UNVEILED

BISHOP Burton College celebrated seven decades delivering high-quality land-based education with a Spring Live family fun day.

Opening up the campus grounds, thousands of visitors came to celebrate its 70th year, with a wide range of activities featured. Entertainment included sheepdog displays, animal feeding, dog shows, floristry presentations and much more.

Attendees could also tour the college facilities, including its Centre for Precision Agriculture, Animal Management Centre, High-Welfare Pig Unit and walled garden, as well as a farmers’ market with fresh produce from local companies and numerous trade stands. The day also showcased the Bishop Burton Horse Trials, which included dressage, show jumping and cross-country events.
