BISHOP BURTON ANNOUNCES ITS FORMAL MEMBERSHIP

BISHOP Burton College has announced its formal membership of The Chartered Institution for Further Education, recognising the college’s longstanding commitment to excellence in vocational and technical education.

The Chartered Institution for Further Education is the only body to award chartered status to the most distinguished further education providers in the UK.

Membership is granted following a rigorous assessment process that recognises a college's contribution to the sector, the quality of its provision and its impact on learners and the wider community.

Principal and chief executive of Bishop Burton College, Danny Metters, attended the official induction ceremony at the historic Apothecaries’ Hall in London, where the college was formally welcomed into the Institution.
