Appeal to go ahead this week

HULL City will have their appeal against a three-window transfer fee restriction heard on Wednesday afternoon by an independent panel.

City were slapped with the punishment by the EFL early last month after accumulating more than 30 days of late transfer payments in the past year.

The Tigers launched an appeal against what they believe is a strong punishment immediately, but have had to wait for the three-person panel to be put together and a suitable date found to conduct the hearing, which will be done remotely.
