POLICE SAID THAT THE MONTH-LONG PILOT PROJECT IS INTENDED TO SAVE THE YOUTH IN DELHI FROM THE MENACE OF DRUGS
The Delhi Police on Sunday launched a month-long 'drug-free Delhi' campaign, identifying schools, colleges, hostels and shelter homes to conduct raids.
Police said they have identified 200 hostels, 200 schools, 50 colleges, 200 pan shops, 200 pharmacy shops, 200 bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants, all shelter homes and railway stations and other public places.
Special commissioner of police (crime) Devesh Srivastava said that the month-long pilot project is intended to save the youth and children in Delhi from the menace of drugs.
