PM holds talks with UAE prez and UK's Sunak on West Asia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak about the security situation in West Asia against the backdrop of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

In his conversation with the UAE President, Modi expressed "deep concerns" over terrorism, the deteriorating security situation and loss of civilian lives in the region. "Had a good conversation with my brother HH @MohamedBinZayed, President of UAE, on the West Asia situation. We share deep concerns at the terrorism, deteriorating security situation and loss of civilian lives," Modi wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"We agree on the need for early resolution of the security and humanitarian situation and that a durable regional peace, security and stability is in everyone's interest," he added.
