The government on Wednesday raised gas allocation for fertiliser plants to 95% of their requirements and permitted supply of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to additional sectors, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, paint, ceramic, foundry and glass, officials said — moves that came hours after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire.
