Delhi Police lays out rules for e-Zero FIRS

Ten days after Union home minister Amit Shah launched the e-Zero FIR initiative to fast-track action against cybercrime, Delhi Police commissioner Sanjay Arora has issued a formal directive outlining procedures for its rollout in the Capital.
The initiative, piloted in Delhi from May 17, aims to expedite investigations, improve fund recovery, and clamp down on financial cyber frauds. As Shah announced on May 19, cybercrime complaints lodged via the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) or helpline 1930initially those involving sums above 10 lakh will now be converted into FIRS automatically.
