Assembly To Go Solar In 100 Days; Will Save ₹15L A Month

Speaker Vijender Gupta on Thursday said that he has set a target of 100 days for the Assembly building to be made fully reliant on solar power, adding that the switch to green energy will save the state exchequer approximately ₹15 lakh per month in power bills.
“I have set a target of 100 days for installing solar plants in the Assembly premises so that we are fully powered by solar energy. Presently, there are two solar power plants with a capacity of 100kW each. Our total energy requirement is around 600kW and hence the installed capacity will
