A Delhi court on Monday extended the judicial custody of Aam Aadmi Party parliamentarian Sanjay Singh till December 11 in a case of money laundering related to the now-scrapped Delhi liquor excise policy 2020-21, with special judge MK Nagpal saying that the court will consider the Enforcement Directorate's charge sheet against the AAP leader the same day.
In a charge sheet filed on Saturday, ED named Singh and his close aide Sarvesh Mishra as accused under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
During the hearing, ED moved an application seeking to protect a witness whose statements have been added to the charge sheet. ED also sought to use the pseudonym for the witness in the supplementary charge sheet.
