2 installments of ₹1K to be given this fiscal: CM

Chief minister Atishi said on Friday that the first two installments of ₹1,000 each under the government's "Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana" will be credited into the accounts of eligible women in Delhi by the end of the current financial year.
She said that the scheme has been notified and is now in the implementation phase, with registrations expected to open within the next 10 days.
The scheme was approved by Delhi cabinet chaired by the CM on Thursday morning.
To be sure, AAP chief Kejriwal had said on Thursday that the scheme would only be rolled out after the elections.

NMCG orders Hry govt to fix drain to prevent Delhi water contamination
The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) has directed Haryana to urgently cover diversion drain number 6 (DD-6) to prevent sewage and effluents from overflowing into diversion drain number 8 (DD-8), which brings drinking water to Delhi, the agency has said in an affidavit filed before the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
