10,000 People From Across India Special Guests on R-Day

People excelling varied fields, handicraft artisans, and environment conservation volunteers are among the 10,000 special guests that have been invited to attend the 76th Republic Day parade to be at the Capital's Kartavya Path on January 26, officials from the Ministry of Defence said on Thursday.

This is in line with the objective to increase 'Jan Bhagidari' (people's participation) in events of national importance, the officials added.
