Etah Doctors Held for Extorting Money from UP Constable Aspirants

After the arrest of a panel doctor in Mathura, Etah police have arrested two government doctors for allegedly extorting money from successful candidates of the recently declared Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2023 results, in the name of medical examination.
AGRA:
Like in Mathura, the Etah doctors also allegedly threatened to disqualify candidates during their medical check-ups unless they paid bribes. In Mathura, the doctor's wife and two of his associates were also arrested. Mathura doctor was a medical officer at the district hospital.
According to a press statement issued by the Etah police media cell, police at Kotwali Etah arrested the two doctors for allegedly threatening candidates and their parents with disqualification from the medical exam if money was not paid.
