Tuition Teacher Arrested for Raping 11-Year-Old Girl in Rajabasa

Police arrested a private tuition teacher on charges of raping an 11-year-old girl student in the classroom of a government-upgraded middle school in Rajabasa under the Rajnagar police station (PS) in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, officials said on Saturday.
JAMSHEDPUR:
"The accused teacher, Suresh Chandra Murmu, was arrested as soon as the matter was brought to our notice. A case has been registered under the Pocso Act, and further action is being taken based on the written statement of the minor," Chanchal Kumar, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rajnagar PS, told the reporters on Saturday.
