LIFE TERM TO FIVE FOR MURDER IN DARBHANGA DISTT

The court of additional district and sessions judge Suman Kumar Diwakar on Friday sentenced five accused to life imprisonment with rigorous punishment in a murder case, which took place in Lagama village under Sakat-pur police station of Darbhanga district in 2016, civil court officials said.
According to public prosecutor Amrendra Narayan Jha, victim Madan Mohan Choudhary, a native of Lagama village, was killed on the night of January 1, 2016. The crime was committed following a dispute over the appointment of a teacher at Shri Shankar Sanskrit Vidyalaya in Lagama. The accused had allegedly lured the victim to a secluded location and killed him before dumping his body.
