Lalu complains of low BP, fever; flown to AIIMS Delhi

Ailing RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Wednesday complained of low blood pressure and slight fever following which he was taken to New Delhi by flight in the evening.

PATNA: His condition is reported stable, said people in the know. Leader of Opposition and the RJD chief's younger son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said his father's blood pressure had dropped and he was then taken to a local hospital for checkup.

"The RJD chief is stable now. We are taking him to Delhi by a regular flight. His condition is stable," Tejashwi said. The opposition leader said the RJD chief, who had undergone kidney transplant and heart surgery earlier, would be treated for health complications at AIIMS, New Delhi.
