State Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested a computer operator of sub divisional officer (SDO)-cum-deputy collector (land and revenue) Aftab Ansari while accepting ₹10,000 bribe at the office in Chatra.

- Raj Kumar

RANCHI:

The action was taken on the information of a 20-yr-old Anil Kumar Ram, a resident of Echaka Nayatand under Simaria police station of Chatra district who alerted ACB that a demand of ₹60,000 has been made by the accused for a favourable order in a land related case from the office of DC (land reforms) and the state probe agency found the allegation true after verification.
