The Jharkhand unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the party's foundation day at the booth level on Sunday, with state president Babulal Marandi saying that the workers are moving forward to create a self-reliant India.

RANCHI: The Jharkhand unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the party's foundation day at the booth level on Sunday, with state president Babulal Marandi saying that the workers are moving forward to create a self-reliant India.

Along with the vibrant celebrations of the Shri Ram Navami across the state, thousands of party workers celebrated the festival by hoisting the BJP flag at their homes.

Apart from this, state organisation general secretary Karmveer Singh hoisted the party flag at the BJP state office and garlanded the statue of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, an inspirational figure for the party.
