GOVT PLANS TO SET UP HOSPITAL ON LINES OF AIIMS DELHI: OFFICIALS

The Rajasthan government has decided to establish the Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), modelled after the AIIMS Delhi, according to officials familiar with the matter.
“RIMS in Rajasthan will be established as an independent institute on the lines of AIIMS. For this, a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AIIMS Delhi has been prepared. The government has essentially replicated the AIIMS Act for this purpose. The bill is currently with the law department for vetting and will soon be passed by the state
