3 children drown in rain-fed pond in Pali

Bodies of three children who drowned in a rain-fed naadi (pond) in Pali district on Thursday were recovered on Friday, police officers aware of the matter said.
The deceased were identified as Khushi (13), Rahul Singh (13), and Jitendra Singh Rawat (12). All three children had taken a day off from school and had gone to the nearby forest to graze goats, where they decided to take bath in the rainwater-filled naadi.
