Two idols at temple desecrated, priest's hut found burnt in Sitamarhi; security enhanced

Against the chequered history of a priest's murder in its vicinity, unidentified miscreants desecrated deities' idols and torched a hut of the priest at a place in Bihar's Sitamarhi district when Shivratri was being celebrated across the country on Wednesday midnight, police said.

BETTIAH: Against the chequered history of a priest's murder in its vicinity, unidentified miscreants desecrated deities' idols and torched a hut of the priest at a place in Bihar's Sitamarhi district when Shivratri was being celebrated across the country on Wednesday midnight, police said.

Police further said that the incident occurred at Shiv Temple in Parmanand village under the jurisdiction of Dumra police station of the district.
