PATNA: Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Monday drew a parallel between former Bihar Chief Minister and socialist icon late Karpoori Thakur and former Bihar CM and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

"Those who used to abuse Karpooriji when he had announced reservation had to confer Bharat Ratna on him. That is the power of Karpoori and he stays as relevant today as he was earlier," he said, while addressing a gathering in Sitamarhi on the occasion of death anniversary of late Karpoori Thakur.
