RJD MAKING BIHAR WOMEN APPLY FOR A SCHEME THAT EXISTS ONLY IN PROMISE: JD(U)
Hindustan Times Patna
|September 06, 2025
Bihar parliamentary affairs minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Friday hit out at the Opposition alliance in Bihar, especially the RJD, for trying to hoodwink innocent women by making them fill forms for “nonexistent Mai Bahin Yojana” in an organised way.
“The RJD workers are trying to lure simple rural women by telling them to fill the forms for the scheme, the fate of which is unknown, in a clear case of forgery. They want to take the women for a ride, but they cannot succeed as women now are an enlightened lot,” he added.
Choudhary said that the Bihar people were well aware of ‘hoax schemes’, as Nitish Kumar had given them the taste of real schemes by walking the talk every time, not just promising.
