Chirag leaves it all on people of Bihar

Hinting at his intention to contest Bihar Assembly elections due later this year, Union minister and LJP (RV) national president Chirag Paswan said on Sunday that he would be contesting the Assembly polls "only if people decide" and left it to them to decide the constituency.

"I will contest the election not from Bihar but for Bihar. I leave this decision to you (people). You decide whether I should contest the Bihar Assembly elections, and from which seat. I will follow your decision. I am the son of Ramvilas Paswan. I will realise the dreams of my father and work for 'Bihar first, Bihari first' to change Bihar," he said recalling an old slogan he had coined ahead of the previous Assembly polls in 2020.

The LJP (RV) national president was addressing party activists of seven districts on Sunday at 'Nav Sankalp Mahasabha' here.
