Bhagwat's speech in Indo-Nepal border district boosts BJP before assembly polls

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, on the second day of his five-day visit to Bihar, arrived at Birpur in Supaul district on Thursday where he inaugurated the new building of Saraswati Vidya Mandir run by Vidya Bharti, an affiliate organisation of RSS in the field of education, officials said.

SUPAUL: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, on the second day of his five-day visit to Bihar, arrived at Birpur in Supaul district on Thursday where he inaugurated the new building of Saraswati Vidya Mandir run by Vidya Bharti, an affiliate organisation of RSS in the field of education, officials said.

His five-day visit to Bihar assumes significance ahead of the assembly elections in the state by the end of this year.

Addressing RSS cadres who had gathered from various parts of the state and neighbouring Nepal, as well as students and teachers, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat stressed the importance of true education, which shapes individuals into responsible and compassionate human beings.
