CONCERTGOERS FELT THE SHOW FELL FLAT DUE TO THE CROWD'S LUKEWARM ENERGY. SOME CLAIMED THAT MOST ATTENDEES WERE MORE INVESTED IN CREATING REELS AND DID NOT EVEN KNOW THE LYRICS TO THE BAND'S SONGS.
After months of anticipation, British band Coldplay kicked off their Music of the Spheres tour at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium on Saturday.
News of the band's second visit to India spurred massive frenzy and tickets to the show sold out in seconds and were resold at exorbitant prices.
Fans online reported that some tickets were being sold for as much as ₹1.5 lakh - far above the original price of ₹12,000.
But despite the buzz, many concertgoers were left disappointed, as they claimed that the show fell short of expectations.
