Bihar governor Arif Mohammad Khan presided over the state function at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, where he listed the government's achievements. So far, the Bihar government has provided government jobs to 900,000 people and created 2.4 million employment opportunities, he said.

The government, Khan said, plans to provide an additional 1.2 million government jobs and create 3.4 million employment opportunities for the state's youth by the end of this year. "The Bihar government will provide 1.2 million government jobs and create 3.4 million employment opportunities for the youth by the end of this year. The state government is working in this direction," he said.

The governor also spoke about the different welfare measures and major infrastructure projects being undertaken by the state government, with a special emphasis on women empowerment. The state is set to go to polls later this year.
