Boy, 10, hit by falling rod, dies

A 10-year-old boy died after an iron rod fell on him at an under-construction building in Greater Noida on Saturday night while he was playing there, police said, adding that no complaint has been filed by the boy's family so far.
GREATER NOIDA:
According to the police, the deceased, Aditya Kumar lived in the 12-storey under-construction site with his parents, both daily wage labourers, inside the site at the time of the incident. The family, originally from Jharkhand, had arrived in Greater Noida along with a Jharkhand-based contractor.
