MUMBAI: The vibrant campus of Sharada Gyanpeeth International School, Malad East buzzed with excitement and energy as students, parents, and teachers gathered to celebrate the much-awaited 15th Annual Sports Day. The day was marked by thrilling events, enthusiastic participation, and a spirited display of athleticism.

The day commenced with a Guard of Honour, as the school Head Boy and Head Girl, accompanied by the school band, extended a warm welcome to the chairman of the school, Dr Sharada Prasad Sharma, member of the school management committee, M K Chaube, principal of the school, Dr Shusmita Sawant, vice principal of the school, Smitha Iyer, primary section head, Mamta Shah, and pre-primary section head, Minoo Asgolkar.

The program commenced with an inspiring address by the Principal, Dr Shusmita Sawant who emphasized the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience among students. The Principal and the dignitaries were felicitated followed by a heartfelt welcome song by the school choir, setting a positive tone for the day.
