App-based cab drivers to cancel rides, urge users to ply offline

MUMBAI: Passengers relying on app-based cab services like Uber and Ola may soon face longer wait times, cancelled bookings, anda sharp dip in cab availability as drivers step up their protest over pending fare revisions and policy implementation.
What does this mean for passengers?
Expect delays: Drivers going offline will mean fewer cabs showing up on the app, longer wait times, and sudden cancellations.
Card payments won't work: If your credit or debit card is linked to Uber or Ola, you won't be able to use it for offline rides. Payments will have to be made in cash, directly to the driver.
