Airbus ties up with Mahindra to expand India sourcing to $2 bn

Airbus will increase its sourcing from India to $2 billion well before 2030, bolstering the country's manufacturing ambitions through a new partnership with Mahindra Aerostructures to produce H130 helicopter fuselages.

NEW DELHI:

The partnership, announced on Wednesday in the presence of civil aviation minister Rammohan Naidu and secretary Vumlunmang Vualnam, will see Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. (MASPL) manufacture and assemble the main fuselage for H130 helicopters, with deliveries commencing by March 2027.
