Young Sameer Rizvi struck yet another century in the Men's Under-23 State A Trophy but couldn't save defending champions Uttar Pradesh from losing their second game in as many three encounters so far in the new season at Vadodara as they lost to Himachal Pradesh by six wickets on Thursday.

The loss, however, let Uttar Pradesh slip to fifth position with just four points in three matches in Group A. Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh with 12 points each were placed at the first two positions, whereas Hyderabad and Vidarbha with eight points each were at the third and fourth positions at the end of round three.
