Google Maps clocks pilgrims' progress

Amid stories on social media about hours-long traffic jams while reaching the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, here is what Google Maps says about the time taken from some of the major cities of Uttar Pradesh and the adjoining states to reach Prayagraj at noon on Monday.

- HT Correspondent

LUCKNOW: These cities include Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Delhi, Bhopal and Patna.

While it is quite possible that one may reach Prayagraj by road without much hassles, the actual time taken to reach the Sangam spot for a holy dip may depend on the rush on that particular day. The routes going towards Prayagraj have also been diverted at many places to create a buffer.
