CONG, RJD MAY CONTEST FEWER SEATS IN BIHAR
Hindustan Times Lucknow
|July 04, 2025
The Opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc has finalised the seat-sharing arrangement “amicably” for early seat-wise preparations in poll-bound Bihar, even as a formal announcement remains pending, people aware of the matter said on Thursday.
The people added that the constituents of the alliance have no issues with the formula, and the main parties, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress, are ready to contest fewer seats than in the 2020 elections to give space to alliance partners.
