Admission process gets off the blocks in city colleges, some to release forms later

The race to secure a college seat has begun. Easing the stress on students and parents, to some extent, some colleges have already released admission forms while others plan to do so later this month.

At National PG College, an autonomous college of Lucknow University, the forms are available both online and offline for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

"The admission forms for BA, BSc and BCom will cost Rs 900, while forms for BBA, BBA (MS), BCA, BAJMC, BCom (Hons) and B.Voc will be available for Rs 1000. An entrance examination will be conducted by the college for BA and BSc (Biology) while admissions to BSc (Mathematics) and BCom will be based on Lucknow University Associated Colleges Common Entrance Test (LUACCET). Besides, the admission to BBA, BBA (MS), BCA, BAJMC, B.Com (Hons) and B.Voc will be based on Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test (LUACMAT)," said principal, NPGC, Devendra Kumar Singh.
