Rise in minimum temp; IMD predicts rain in Capital today

NEW DELHI: Nights have started getting warmer in the national capital as the minimum temperature rose by two degrees in the past 24 hours, data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) showed. The minimum temperature stood at 13.2°C on Tuesday, two degrees above normal and the highest minimum so far this year. IMD said it may touch 14°C in the next 48 hours, despite chances of rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Delhi's minimum a day earlier was 11.2°C. It is expected to be between 11-13°C on Wednesday and between 12-14°C on Thursday, IMD forecast said.
