The Supreme Court on Thursday observed there is no “serious” difference of opinion between the West Bengal government and Governor CV Ananda Bose on appointing vice-chancellors in 17 state universities after being told that except for two, the 15 names approved by the governor form part of the panel recommended by the chief minister.
