ACB Raids 19 Locations in ₹11.5 Cr DA Case Against PHED Engineer

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Sunday conducted a search operation in at least 19 locations across six districts in Rajasthan in connection to a ₹11.5 crore disproportionate assets case against Ashok Jangid, a superintendent engineer (SE) of the Public Engineering and Health Department (PHED), officials said.
JAIPUR: The accused has amassed a fortune worth 161% more than his earnings since joining government service.
"The accused Ashok Jangid is currently posted at the department's Banswara-based unit. A complaint was lodged against him for amassing assets worth more than ₹11.5 crore since his appointment in government service. Following the development, at least 24 special teams of the ACB comprising around 250 officials are conducting the raid across the state," director general of the ACB, Ravi Prakash Meharda said.
