Rituals Start in Ayodhya for Consecration of Ram Darbar

The temple town of Ayodhya was decked up on Tuesday as the "pran pratishtha" (consecration ceremony) of Ram Darbar at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple began, with temples across the town being decorated with flowers.

The three-day grand celebrations for the "pran pratishtha" ceremony of Ram Darbar began around 6.30 am on Tuesday with a two-hour Panchang Puja outside the Yajna Mandap.
Ahead of the ceremony, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust constructing the grand temple, shared a post on X showing the visuals of the Kalash Yatra organised on the banks of the Saryu river.
