Following the Global Investors Summit held in Uttarakhand in December 2023, the state celebrated the successful grounding of investments worth ₹1 lakh crore. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah highly praised the efforts of the state government and assured full support from the central government.

The Union Home Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various projects worth a total of ₹1,342.84 crore. This included the foundation stone laying for 16 projects worth ₹1,263.5 crore and the inauguration of 4 projects worth ₹79.34 cr.
