As civic body polls near, Dhami accuses Cong of appeasement

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that the BJP government doesn't just engage in politics of promises, but also delivers on them. Slamming the Congress, he said it is now up to the public to decide whether they stand in favour of development and good governance or in favour of appeasement and corruption of the grand old party.
DEHRADUN/HALDWANI: Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that the BJP government doesn't just engage in politics of promises, but also delivers on them. Slamming the Congress, he said it is now up to the public to decide whether they stand in favour of development and good governance or in favour of appeasement and corruption of the grand old party.
Addressing a public meeting organised in Mallital, Nainital, in support of BJP candidates Prakash Arya from Bhowali municipal area, Jeevanti Bhatt from Nainital municipality and Kamla Arya from Bhimtal municipal area for the upcoming civic polls, Dhami said that while on one hand the BJP is working for the development of the state, Congress has always promoted corruption.
