Fugitive Munawar Khan extradited from Kuwait

A fugitive wanted in bank fraud cases, Munawar Khan, was on Thursday extradited from Kuwait, in an operation coordinated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) with the ministry of external affairs (MEA) and the National Central Bureau (NCB) of the West Asian country, a CBI spokesperson said.
Escorted by a team of Kuwait police, Khan landed at the Hyderabad airport from where a unit of the CBI's special task branch in Chennai took him into custody, the agency added.
