Won’t show restraint next time, Army chief tells Pak

“India, as a country, is fully prepared this time. And this time, it will not show the restraint that it showed during Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time we will take a step forward and act in a manner that will make Pakistan think whether it wants to remain on the world map or not. If it wants to retain its place on the world map, it will have to stop state-sponsored terrorism,” he said, addressing soldiers at Anupgarh in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district.
General Upendra Dwivedi
The remarks came a day after defence minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday warned Islamabad of an overwhelming response if it attempted any mischief in Sir Creek sector separating Gujarat from Pakistan’s Sindh province against the backdrop of the neighbour shoring up military infrastructure near the disputed area.
Dwivedi asked soldiers to stay operationally ready. “Keep yourselves fully prepared now. if god wants, the opportunity will come soon.”
